Ting Irie – Manzil, Downtown, Dubai

I have been walking past Ting Irie’s Bob Marley wall for a couple of years now and I have always wanted to try out the place. I finally did it last week with a couple of friends of mine. And it totally lived up to my expectations.
So its located right in the boulevard opposite the Palace Hotel. However, the entrance is inside the Souk Al Manzil. You enter into a sort of another world. With amazing interiors, with wood and Jamaican colors.
I was welcomed by the staff who were always courteous and smiling. The service was fast, even when the pub was almost full. The place is a little loud with the live music and a lot of people talking over the sound. But I loved it.

I tried the Jamaican Red Stripe Beer. It was nice. Although I highly suggest to try out their Colada.
As for food, We ordered the Seafood Stew. For Seafood food lovers. I personally loved it. It served with a huge portion of Mashed Potato or any other side of choice. It’s a tad on the expensive side but the portion size is good enough for two. We also got a Chicken Burger that was decent.

My personal favorite was the Oxtail Sandwich. It was my first trying Oxtail. But was a great experience. It was more like a slider and tasted great. Special shoutout to the sauces on the table.

As for Desert, The “Wash off Yuh Hart”. Oh my god, if you love coconut you should totally get this. They have different forms of coconut. The mousse in a coconut shell shaped Chocolate shell. The Jaggery flavored coconut on the side. All of it was simply delicious.
I am definitely going there again.
